Yes! Sherwood is built with a screen-free first approach. We have thousands of audiobooks and exclusive podcasts to keep kids entertained without a screen. Plus, with our Sherwood Speaker, kids can enjoy stories anytime, anywhere—whether it’s at bedtime, during quiet afternoons, or on long car rides.

Yes! While a dedicated SmartTV app is still in development, the audio-content and video content can be airplayed/screen cast on most SmartTVs.

Most kids’ media today is engineered to overload young brains with rapid scene changes, flashy visuals, and excessive noise. This kind of overstimulation leads to shorter attention spans, addictive screen habits, and less imaginative play. Sherwood slows things down to help kids think, imagine, and engage with stories in a meaningful way.

Our ebook and audiobook library is primarily built upon the reading lists for Charlotte Mason and classical homeschool programs. If we don’t have the book you need for your child’s education, let us know, and we will work on adding it to the library.

The content is only accessible via the Sherwood app, similar to Netflix content only being viewed through the Netflix app.

We offer a 7-day free trial so families can explore Sherwood before being charged. If you don’t wish to continue, please cancel before the trial ends to avoid being billed.

You can cancel your trial at any time by visiting:

Your App Store or Google Play subscription settings (if you signed up in-app), or
email us requesting to cancel before the end of your trial (help@sherwoodkids.com).

💳Monthly Subscriptions
Once a monthly subscription charge is processed, we do not issue refunds. You will continue to have access to Sherwood for the remainder of your billing period, and your subscription will not renew.

📆 Yearly Subscriptions
For annual subscriptions, we offer a 48-hour grace period after the billing date. If you request cancellation within 48 hours and have not heavily accessed or downloaded content, we may approve a refund.

After that window, your subscription is non-refundable and will remain active for the full year.

We’re a young company doing our best to serve families with honest, healthy content—and our free trial is designed to give you the time needed to decide. Once a subscription starts, our system allocates bandwidth, usage, and royalties to creators. That’s why refunds after renewal aren't automatic or always possible.
